When providing your financial data to an Accounting Required case, you may use a Macbook if you are manually attesting your data or if you use a cloud based accounting software.
If you have a Cloud Package such as 'QuickBooks Online', 'Xero', etc. you will be able to upload to Validis on a MacBook/Apple product. You will need to use one of the following browsers:
- Google Chrome - (Latest version)
- Mozilla Firefox - (Latest version)
- Microsoft Edge - (Latest version)
This is because Validis just needs to connect to the cloud to allow access to the data.
If you have a Desktop Package such as 'QuickBooks Desktop', 'Sage 50', etc. you won't be able to upload to Validis on a MacBook/Apple product.
This is because Validis uses 'Microsoft ClickOnce' technology to access desktop package data which is not installed on MacBooks/Apple products.
